RULES GOVERNING THE KMCP PANEL PRIZE-DRAW Article I: Organisation Ipsos MORI, a company with registered head offices at MORI House, 79-81 Borough Road, London SE1 1FY (United Kingdom), registered on the UK Companies Register under number 948470 and represented by its Chief Executive Officer Mike Everett, is organising a free prize draw in connection with new registrations to the KMCP Panel.By entering the prize draw you agree to be bound by these rules. Article II: Participation All entrants who successfully join the KMCP Panel will be entitled to one (1) entry in the KMCP Panel Prize Draw. Participants must be residents of the UK, and must have reached the age of majority according to the UK legislation. All those who have successfully joined the KMCP Panel prior to 15 August 2008 will be automatically entered into the prize draw. Article III: Contest Period The KMCP Panel Prize Draw will be open from August 15, 2008 at 00:01 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and until November 28, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. GMT. In the event of force major, Ipsos MORI reserves the right to halt or extend the duration of the competition without prior notice. Article IV: How to enter Completion of the new joiner survey is not necessary to enter. To enter without completing the survey, please send an email to us at kmcp@ipsos-mori.com with the subject line reading Alternate way of entry: KMCP Panel Prize Draw and providing your name, address, date of birth, telephone number and personal email address within the message body. Email entries must be received within the contest period. Article V: Designation of the winner(s) Winners will be determined by a random draw from all eligible entries, to be held within 28 days of the closing date specified. Three (3) entries will be selected among all eligible entries received within the contest period Ipsos MORI reserves the right to postpone the draw until a later date should the survey entry period be extended. All decisions are final and binding. The potential winner(s) will be notified within fourteen days of the draw by mail, e-mail or by telephone. The potential winner(s) must reply to the notification within ten (10) days of the date that the email was sent, in order to claim the prize. If no response is obtained within ten (10) business days of notification, the prize(s) will be forfeited and may be awarded to (an) alternate winner(s) selected in a random draw from the remaining eligible entries. Again, these prize draw potential winners must reply to the notification within ten (10) days of notification to claim the prize. There will be three (3) alternate drawings after which the prizes will remain unawarded. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Details of prize winners are available by writing to Ipsos MORI, MORI House, 79-81 Borough Road, London SE1 1FY (United Kingdom), enclosing a stamped, self-addressed business size envelope. Article VI: Prize Three (3) prizes will be awarded. One (1) prize will be awarded to the one (1) Grand winner in the form of £500 assigned in a random draw. One (1) prize will be awarded to one (1) winner in the form of £300 assigned in a random draw, and one (1) prize will be awarded to one (1) winner in the form of £200. The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries. There will be no alternative to prizes. No transfer or assignment of prizes will be permitted except by Ipsos MORI. Ipsos MORI reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Article VII: Liability Ipsos MORI is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, mis-delivered, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries, messages or post; unavailable network connections; failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmission; on line failures; hardware software or other technical malfunctions or disturbances; or any other communications failures or circumstances affecting, disrupting or corrupting the prize draw in any manner including without limitation, receipt of entries, entrance ability to participate in the prize draw winner notification, or winner response to notification. Ipsos Interactive Services is also not responsible for any damage to entrant's computer occasioned by participation in the prize draw or downloading of any information necessary to participate in the prize draws. Article VIII: Presentation of prizes By accepting the prize, the winner authorises Ipsos MORI to use his/her last name, first name, postal or Internet address as part of any promotional event associated with the competition, in return for no consideration other than the prize attributed. Article IX: Agreement of Proof Except in the event of manifest error, it is agreed that information provided by the competition systems operated by Ipsos MORI shall constitute binding proof in any dispute relating to details of connection and data processing of that information for the purposes of the competition. Article X: Jurisdiction These rules shall be governed by English law and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Article XI: Data protection Personal details of participants in the prize draw, including postal address, telephone number and email address will be used to record entry in the prize draw, and to notify the winning participant. Names and geographical location will also be used in notifications of winning entries sent to all participants, including any notice posted on our web-site. We will process your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
